Kathleen “Katie” Finneran was born on January 22, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois but she grew up in Miami, Florida. In 1989, she graduated from New World School of the Arts (nwsa.mdc.edu) in Miami, Florida and attended Carnegie Mellon University (www.cmu.edu) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She left college early to study acting with Uta Hagen. Just a small fact – Katie Finneran and Felix Pire were each other’s senior prom date in high school. She is married to Darren Goldstein (August 22, 2010 to present), and they have two children together. Her most recent project was a supporting role on the NBC comedy “The Michael J. Fox Show,” and her character was playing Michael J. Fox’s sister. Thus far, NBC only aired 15 of the already filmed 22 shows, and executives are unsure of how the network will handle the remaining seven shows of “The Michael J. Fox Show.” NBC did not air the remaining filmed episodes. Currently, Katie is previewing It Might Be You at the famous Broadway supper club 54 Below.
