Jonathan David Crombie was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on October 12th, 1966 to David and Shirley Anne Crombie. Jonathan is the youngest of three children; he has two older sisters, and their father is a former mayor of Toronto and former Canadian federal Cabinet Member. His educational pursuits include graduating from the University of Toronto’s Victoria College (http://www.vicu.utoronto.ca/) in 1995 and performing with the Stratford Festival (http://www.stratfordfestival.ca/) in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. In 1997, Jonathan earned a nomination for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance due to his performance as Valentine Coverly in the Canadian Stage Company’s production of Arcadia. He’s also starred in various Toronto and Broadway productions such as This Could Be Love (2004, Toronto); The Drowsy Chaperone (2006, Broadway, New York City, New York); and Ouch My Toe (2004, Toronto).

Jonathan Crombie is best known for his role as Gilbert Blythe in the Canadian television movies Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Green Gables – The Sequel, and Anne of Green Gables – The Continuing Story. Herman Towe was born March 20th, 1968, and he was raised in Plymouth, North Carolina where, in 1986, he graduated from Plymouth High School. During college, Herman played the drums in the East Carolina University Marching Pirates, the University’s marching band. Ironically, Herman went to college with one of my former bosses at NASCAR Media Group (www.nascar.com). Herman is married to Stacie Towe who owns ToweBella (www.towebella.com) – a Charlotte, North Carolina hair salon. Herman, Stacie, and their son all live in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Kathleen “Katie” Finneran was born on January 22, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois but she grew up in Miami, Florida. In 1989, she graduated from New World School of the Arts (nwsa.mdc.edu) in Miami, Florida and attended Carnegie Mellon University (www.cmu.edu) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She left college early to study acting with Uta Hagen. Just a small fact – Katie Finneran and Felix Pire were each other’s senior prom date in high school. She is married to Darren Goldstein (August 22, 2010 to present), and they have two children together. Her most recent project was a supporting role on the NBC comedy “The Michael J. Fox Show,” and her character was playing Michael J. Fox’s sister.
